How Trump’s Close-call Nearly Changed American History?
On July 13, 2024, at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, Trump survived an assassination attempt.

The Attempt
At 6:11 PM, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, fired shots from a nearby rooftop as Trump rallied his supporters.
Secret Service counter-snipers eliminated Crooks from 130 yards away. But not before he inflicted damage:
Trump suffered a minor injury to his right ear
One spectator, 50-year-old firefighter Corey Comperatore, died protecting his family
Two others, David Dutch (57) and James Copenhaver (74), were critically wounded. They’re in stable condition now.

Security Failures Exposed
This event has exposed significant security flaws. A series of oversights and miscommunications even raised doubts about the competence of the Secret Service:
Local police spotted Crooks acting suspiciously before the rally but couldn't engage
Witnesses reported seeing Crooks with a rifle, but their warnings went unheeded
The rooftop Crooks used as a sniper's nest was left unmonitored and unguarded
Critical information failed to flow between local law enforcement and the Secret Service
The result? A 20-year-old with an AR-15 (legally bought by his father) almost changed the course of American politics.

The Shooter
Thomas Matthew Crooks was the 20-year-old gunman behind the assassination attempt. He is a figure wrapped in mystery and contradictions:
The FBI is searching through Crooks' digital footprint. But his motives remain frustratingly opaque.
“There's no place in America for this kind of violence – or any violence. An assassination attempt is contrary to everything we stand for as a nation. It’s not America, and we cannot allow this to happen.“
Investigation Underway
The FBI's investigation into the assassination attempt is in full swing. The agency is treating it as a case of domestic terrorism:
Crooks' home and vehicle searches revealed a dozen guns and explosive devices.
Investigators have gained access to Crook’s phone and are analyzing his electronic footprint.
The shooter's family is reportedly cooperating with authorities
Crooks' father legally purchased the AR-15 style rifle used in the attack
A detailed investigation is underway. FBI says the shooter acted alone but they’re continuing to determine if there are any co-conspirators.

It's scary how all mainstream media say Trump was "rushed off the stage" instead of reporting that he was shot.
