Who Forced Biden Out of the 2024 Race?
President Joe Biden announced his withdrawal from the 2024 Presidential race on July 21.
This decision came as the Democratic party grew more jittery about Biden’s fitness for another term.
What went inside the Democratic shakeup?
The Pressure: Inside the Democratic Party
Many Democrats worried he couldn't beat Trump in the election. Even key party leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer privately shared their concerns to Biden.
The real shock came when over 30 Congressional Democrats publicly asked Biden to step down.
The Obama Factor: A Silent Influence?
Former President Barack Obama played a quiet but important role:
Sources say Obama told Democratic allies he doubted Biden's chances.
Obama hasn't backed a new candidate yet, which has people talking. Some wonder if he's keeping the door open for Michelle Obama to run.
While Michelle has said she's not interested, her popularity makes it an exciting idea for some.
I’ve known Obama since 1995. We both come out of Chicago politics. I know how it works. He’s behind the campaign to dump 15 million Dem primary voters & replace Biden with his choice. Classic Chicago Democrat machine politics. Selection over election. The bosses over the people.

Health Concerns: The Unspoken Truth?
Biden's health became a big issue leading up to his decision to quit:
He tested positive for COVID-19 on July 17, just days before his big announcement.
There were already concerns about his age and mental sharpness. A poor showing in a debate against Trump on June 27 made them only worse.
Biden didn't say it outright in his announcement letter. But, he hinted in an interview that he would drop out only if a medical condition emerged.
The Harris Endorsement: Strategic Move?
In a move that surprised many, Biden quickly backed Vice President Kamala Harris to take his place.
His campaign even changed its name to "Harris for President" right away.
According to a survey, VP Harris has already secured enough Democratic delegates’ support to become her party’s nominee against Trump.
This quick switch makes some wonder if it was planned all along and raises the question if it was Biden's own choice or if party leaders pushed for it.
Yes you are, Kamala Harris. Yes you are.

Kamala Harris: Prospects and Challenges
Early polls show Harris holding her own against Trump. One poll even had them tied at 44% each.
Harris seems to do better with Black voters than Biden did, which could be a big help.
But she'll need to work on winning over more white voters to have a real shot at winning.
Democratic Donors Follow Harris
The money picture changed fast after Biden's announcement:
Big donors, including George Clooney, who weren't sure about Biden are now backing Harris.
Kamala Harris raised $81 million in the first 24 hours of her campaign, the largest 24-hour raise in Presidential history.
This quick support could give her a strong start in the race against Trump.
The Road Ahead for the Democrats
The Democratic party faces some big challenges with Biden’s unexpected exist:
The upcoming Democratic convention in Chicago (Aug. 19-22) could be more competitive than usual if any contenders emerge.
The DNC also faces a tough challenge in key battleground states like Georgia, Nevada, and Wisconsin.
Harris is also looking for a running mate, with governors Josh Shapiro and Gretchen Whitmer emerging as top contenders.
What the Democrats are doing now is literally House of the Dragon. They staged a coup against the rightful leader, installed a different leader, and hid the sick king away without telling the people what his condition was and nobody knew who was running the kingdom.

Biden’s Mixed Legacy
Biden’s legacy is a mixed bag of key accomplishments and tough challenges:
The COVID-19 pandemic aid and passing major legislation like the bipartisan infrastructure bill are some of his major accomplishments.
But, declining approval ratings and concerns about his age overshadowed his time in office.
Joe Biden saw us out of the pandemic and recession, beat inflation, changed our whole economic paradigm with industrial policy, helped bring down crime, and defended Ukraine against conquest.
In just one term, he was the best President of my lifetime.

All the "joe biden is a great man" bullshit is truly sickening. He dedicated himself to the mass slaughter of children in Gaza and if there is a shred of justice in this world that will be the remembered legacy of his administration.
We should also not forget that Biden and… x.com/i/web/status/1…

Our Thoughts
The coming weeks will be crucial as the Democratic Party rallies behind its new presumptive nominee.
With Trump looming large on the horizon, the stakes couldn't be higher.
Only time will tell if Harris will be able to unify the party and present a formidable challenge to Donald Trump.
